Job Description
LEA Consulting Ltd is looking for dedicated and committed survey staff for the
2011 Peel Cordon Count Study.

Part of the Region’s Cordon Count Program, the Study will survey all road
traffic entering and leaving the Region. The work, to be carried out from end of
April to beginning of July, will consist of manual counts of vehicles and their
occupants at a number of counting stations along screenlines set throughout the
Region of Peel. Counting will be done in two 8-hour shifts per day from Monday
to Thursday. Chosen applicants will be trained in surveying methods and the use
of electronic traffic counting equipment. Surveyors must have a valid Canadian
driver’s license, have access to a car for the duration of the work and be ready
to travel extensively throughout the Region of Peel.

Contract Duration: 2 months
Pay: $13.00 per hour
Entire survey day is 5:30 am – 8:30 pm with two 8.0 hours shifts available. 5:15
am – 1:15pm and 12:45pm – 8:45pm
Peak period assistance (6 hours) – 6:00am-12:00pm and/or 1:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
Survey days are Monday to Thursday outside of holidays.
