The Canadian Red Cross is looking for individuals to work in Burlington as the
Community Care Co-coordinator.

Reporting to the Manager of Home Support Services, the successful
candidate will provide administrative, secretarial and clerical assistance with
the development, co-ordination and re-alignment of the new or existing Red
Cross services/initiatives to serve the vulnerable in specific areas of the
In addition to your administrative responsibilities, you are the On-site team
leader for the Burlington operation, your experience in developing a team,
coordinating internal staffing and handling issues make you an excellent
candidate – in addition to your proven poise, diplomacy and tact.
Here is What You Will Be Doing
􏰀 Ensure excellent customer service and maintain positive relationship
with other agencies and Red Cross departments
􏰀 Assist with the evaluation and marketing of current services and
􏰀 Complete the Volunteer Recruitment Process
􏰀 Create and maintain database of information and statistics
􏰀 Scheduling and managing of staff
􏰀 Conduct a Monthly Workplace Inspection
􏰀 Provide admin support of community initiatives and fundraising
􏰀 Respond to inquiries regarding program and services, logging calls and
producing reports
􏰀 Process mail, maintain filing and inventory
􏰀 Make arrangements and participate in various activities to promote
Red Cross
Are you Qualified?
􏰀 Proven experience and high degree of comfort with autonomously
making decisions within a defined scope of responsibility
􏰀 Significant experience in the supervision of support staff
􏰀 Significant experience in the area of document management
􏰀 Previous position as a Manager/Leader

􏰀 Experience in delivering results through leading, delegating and
collaboratively working with a team
􏰀 3-5 years of job related work experience
􏰀 1-3 years customer service experience
􏰀 Excellent computer skills; MS Office suites
􏰀 Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
􏰀 Experience in a non-profit role is an asset
􏰀 Ability to work within a diverse work environment
􏰀 Exceptional interpersonal skills
􏰀 Proven exceptional problem solving abilities
􏰀 Self motivated and outcome oriented
􏰀 Flexible and open to new challenges
􏰀 Computer literate and experience working with databases; particularly
with CIMS-HR
