Description: The Maytree Scholarship Program provides peer and financial support to protected
persons or landed immigrants who were protected persons living without parents in
Toronto, and who have demonstrated success in their academic, work and/or volunteer

to develop relationships where they receive support, build networks and have fun. The
group engages in voluntary work throughout the school year, which helps further
develop their sense of civic engagement and responsibility.

course selection. Scholarships cover tuition, books, rent, transportation and a living
